Class A4  - No 2510 Quicksilver. This was the second of the silver grey A4's to be introduced in late September 1935, just two weeks after No 2509 Silver Link. All four of the "silver" locomotives, the other two being No 2911 Silver King and No 2512 Silver Fox, were introduced specifically to haul the Silver Jubilee train. As only one of the four was required for this service on any day the other three were often used on other prestigious trains including the Flying Scotsman, the Coronation and the West Riding Ltd.
