Furness Railway

Furness Railway express locomotive No 22. This batch of 8 locomotives were built by Sharp Stewart & Co mainly in 1896, with the last two completed in 1900. They were perfectly standard 4-4-0's of the period being reliable and efficient. All 8 passed to the LMS in 1923 and were presumably painted in the LMS red livery.
