ELEGANT STEAM
Connor 2-2-2 - No 76 (1862) - I don't know much about these locomotives except to say that, at the time, 1862, they were the heaviest locomotive in the UK. They had 8ft driving wheels, minimal suspension and no brakes on the locomotive. I suppose a bit of a handful to drive which required hard men !!
In the light of the new book by Jim MacIntosh I intend to revisit the livery of this locomotive.
