This is a typical coach end for a Coronation/West Riding Ltd coach. It would only be seen on the summer Coronation  set behind the locomotive as the other end would have the observation car attached. However, it would be seen at the rear of the West Riding Ltd set. I have no evidence but I assume that the blanking plate fitted to the rear of the set would have had the words "West Riding Ltd". (as did the Silver Jubilee) For the winter service when no observation car was in use I assume that the same applied for the Coronation set.

I have greyed out the outer areas of the end to indicate the angular design but the colour was the same as the sides of the coach.

The latter comments are based on guesswork but reasonably so, I think.
